As a premier sponsor, DENSO provided an exhibit on the main show floor of the North American International Auto Show. With its advance products and technology displays, DENSO’s exhibit included a cockpit demonstrator detection system that can notify drivers of pending safety hazards. It also highlighted our company’s environmental focus and the contributions with DENSO-sponsored student vehicle projects at Lawrence Technological University (Formula SAE race car), University of Michigan (Solar Car), and Michigan Technological University (Clean Snowmobile).
DENSO held a news conference to show how DENSO's products make the driving experience safe and environmentally friendly. Leading the news conference was Oyuki Ogawa, Executive Vice President, Engineering Research and Development Center and Research Laboratories, DENSO Corporation and Doug Patton, Senior Vice President, Engineering Division, DENSO International America.
For the NAIAS Automotive Education Day, DENSO offered students a game of finding answers about DENSO’s environmentally friendly products throughout the exhibit.
